A 2007 would be the WK platform and would be different. You may get better advice on the WK forum. I had a 2010 XK, which is the same mechanically as the WK. IIRC, the oil pan on the 3.7L is steel and uses a metal core silicone gasket. So I suspect you'd also need to drop the axle to drop the oil pan.
